Hope is in Christ

My friend took the above photo and his sweet wife added the verse.  When she posted this on Facebook, I had to ask if I could use it.  She said yes, so I am sharing it with you.

Today, more than ever it seems people are without hope.  Depression and despair are on the rise as evidenced by the climbing suicide rate.  What a shame that so many people feel they have no hope!

Are we as believers hiding our lights under bushels?  Are we keeping our Hope in Christ to ourselves?  How can our neighbors not know of the hope in Jesus Christ?

13 For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?

15 And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”
