I love quotes, don’t you? The one above is from Eleanor Roosevelt and I think it is a good one, especially if you are trying to move forward with your life. And as believers, we should be moving forward in our lives for the kingdom of God.
What is something that scares you that you should be doing? That’s not a rhetorical question, but you don’t have to tell me. Just say it out loud so you can hear it.
For me, it’s writing. But you’re already doing that, you say. Well, it’s more than blogging. I actually have not one, but two, books in the works. And I am struggling to finish them up. I have a 3rd in idea form; however, 2 are written and just need editing and put out there.
So the hard part is done, right? No, the hard part is the scary part which is letting the world see them! One is non-fiction about living on purpose for our calling in Christ – living our legacy. The other is a fiction medical thriller. There is mystery and intrigue and salvation. Both share the gospel but in different ways.
In an effort of doing something scary, I’m asking you to tell me what you think. Should I go for it? Would you be interested in reading books from me?
What’s your scary thing? What is God calling you to do?
For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 ESV
Comment below and let me know if you think I should go for it and/or tell me what scary thing God is calling you to do?
