So how do you grow and develop your Christian faith?   First, you must be saved.  This may sound like a given, but it is imperative that you know Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.  It’s not enough to know about Him.  Hence, you must be born again; saved, as most believers call it.

Understand you are a sinner…

Romans 3:23 NKJV – for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Romans 3:10 NKJV – As it is written: “There is none righteous, no, not one;

Romans 5:12 NKJV – Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned–

Repent of your sin and accept God’s gift of salvation…

Romans 6:23 NKJV – For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 5:8 NKJV – But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 10:9-10 NKJV – that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation

Romans 10:13 NKJV – For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.”

Confess Jesus before men…

Tell someone!

And be BAPTIZED! That’s your first major step AFTER salvation. This tells the world that you have been saved! It’s a picture that you are dead to sin and raised to life in Christ.

Start reading the Bible daily. Start with the New Testament to learn more about your Savior! The book of John is a great place to start.

Find a Bible believing Church to join and serve the Lord with them.
